How we’re trying to make our little business more environmentally friendly
At Bristol Floral Design, we are making every sustainable effort to make our business more environmentally friendly.
We have partnered with specially selected local businesses to contribute in a small way to our footprint. Whilst we are always open to expanding our search for like minded businesses to improve our credentials, at present, we currently work with the businesses listed below.
Plantable Greetings Cards
As florists, we’re passionate about helping nature thrive. That’s why in 2026 we’ve introduced plantable greetings cards, made from seed paper that can be planted after use to grow beautiful wildflowers.
Rather than being thrown away, these cards continue their journey long after the flowers have been enjoyed, helping to support bees, butterflies and local biodiversity. It’s a simple but meaningful way for us to make gifting a little greener and reduce unnecessary waste.

Electric company car!
In 2025, we invested in an electric VW E-Up! This vehicle is a signal of our everlasting intent to become sustainable and improve our environmental footprint for both deliveries and events across Bristol and the South West. Visit our blog for more information!
Re-Purposing Hessian Sacks
In 2024, we partnered with Clifton Coffee to re-use hessian sacks. In maintaining a re-use of these sacks, we carefully shape them into beautiful wraps to surround some of our most loved bouquets. You can order a bouquet from our eco range online now within the ’shop’ section. Please note, all eco wraps come without plastic and therefore without water, too. Biodegradable Stickers
In 2024, we carefully partnered with the Sticker Shop as our provider for the stickers we use on our floral bags. All stickers used are 100% biodegradable and plastic free. For more information on the Sticker Shop visit their site.
